Membership Requirement Information

Ordeal

A Scout must:
- be at least First Class rank
- have at least 15 days and nights of camping, one of which must be a minimum of a 6-day long-term trip
- be elected by his peers
- participate in the Ordeal

An adult leader must:
- be proposed for membership by unit or district committees or by the lodge
- participate in the Ordeal

Brotherhood

An Ordeal member must:
- be active in the Order of the Arrow for at least 10 months since his/her induction
